Saint Lucia registers first fatal accident for 2016

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 48 year old, Renee Joseph of Jacmel, Anse La Raye. On Tuesday, December 29, 2015 Joseph was admitted to the Victoria Hospital after being struck by a bicycle ridden by 17 year old, Neilus Henry of Jacmel, Anse La Raye. The accident occurred at Blackstone, Anse La Raye. On Saturday, January 2, 2016 Joseph succumbed to her injuries. A post mortem has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
