Originally slated for a September 9 opening, the Saint Lucia Sports Academy will begin classes on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. However, classes won’t be held at the academy’s grounds in Gros Islet, but will instead commence at the Pastoral Centre in Marisule.
A press release by the Ministry of Education states that transportation for staff and students will be provided from the following locations:
“The Department of Education apologises for any inconvenience caused, however wishes to assure parents/guardians that all efforts are being made to provide a conducive and comfortable learning environment for their children,” the release stated.
