The Chevening Scholarship winner for Saint Lucia was officially announced today in a news release from the British High Commission in Castries. Keryn Nelson copped the award for Saint Lucia – joining eight other awardees across the region from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She will be pursuing an MSc in Media Communication and Development at London School of Economics and Political Science.
Resident British Commissioner to Saint Lucia, Mr. Steve McCready said “I wish to congratulate Keryn on her wonderful achievement. I am sure that she will make the most of this truly valuable experience and I hope that she enjoys the upcoming year of learning and discovery”.
Applications for 2021 to 2022 Chevening Scholarships will officially open on 3 September and close on 3 November 2020. Interested persons will be able to apply at www.chevening.org/apply.
