Sandals Celebrates at Prestige Awards

Rochelle Casimir claims her well deserved award.

In true red-carpet style, Sandals Resorts International has been paying tribute to its outstanding employees with gala- Prestige Awards at its three resorts here. During three separate occasions, Sandals team members were honoured in various categories of service excellence.  Regional Public Relations Manager for Sandals Resorts in the Eastern Caribbean, Dominic Fedee says that the nights were aimed at recognizing employee’s stellar contributions and inspire greater genius.

“We are of the firm belief that our employees are the bedrock of the tourism industry. Their level of competence and commitment determines whether we rise or fall. We credit our success over the last 30 years largely to them. We are very thankful for the gift of some of the best employees in the
travel and tourism
industry. We are committed to continue training and developing them,” Fedee told the STAR.

The ultimate team members of the year for the three resorts went to: Peter Barley of Sandals Grande, Rochelle Casimir for Sandals Halcyon and Latoya Roserie at Sandals La Toc. Team members were also honoured for efforts in environmental preservation and community development work through the Sandals Foundation.
