Sarrot Stabbing brings 2019 Homicide Toll to 32

Investigations are ongoing, according to police, into the fatal stabbing of Vick Denis, a 34-year-old resident of Sarrot, Castries.

Police say Denis was stabbed by an intruder at his home in Sarrot at about 4:10am on Monday, September 2. At about 7:24am he succumbed to his injuries at Victoria Hospital.

His death brings the total homicide number this year to 32, just two days after the 31st homicide was recorded when Mathurin Donnelly was gunned down outside a refreshment bar in Micoud on Saturday, August 31.
