The family is responsible, to a large extent, for setting a strong moral foundation for society. Sadly, it would appear that many of the core values that were once prevalent in many families are quickly disintegrating. Many social ills are on the rise as we continue to be negatively impacted by the incidences of crime, in one way or another.
In order to address our current situation, the public is invited to participate in the upcoming ‘Happy family to family Bible Seminar’ which will explore effective solutions and practical modalities for improving family life.
The seminar runs from Sunday, October 13 to Saturday November 9, 2019, at the Marisule Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church and will be conducted by family therapist and director of the Family Life Department at the SDA Saint Lucia Mission Office, Dr. Caius Alfred, Dmin. MAPH, FMT, BA.
The nightly sessions begin at 7:00 p.m. while the day session begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
Several intriguing topics will be explored including:
• Is it really love? Seven ways to tell.
• When young girls/boys won’t listen.
• Seven steps to resolving conflict.
• Seven ways to manage stress and enjoy inner peace.
The seminar is guaranteed to provide valuable tools on how to strengthen your family relationships. Participants are also encouraged to take advantage of free pre- and post-marital counselling, parental counselling services and baby dedications.
The ‘Happy family to family Bible Seminar’ is a collaborative effort of the Marisule and Mount Olives Seventh Day Adventist churches.
