On Friday September 27 Diamonds International unfolded a new initiative aimed at assisting young persons in Saint Lucia. “Our vision,” according to Tesshar St. Ange Scott Project Manager at Diamond International, “is to give ten deserving unemployed young people the opportunity to gain some work experience in the jewelry trade, and earn some money in time for the holiday season.”
To this end the “Shine Bright Like A Diamond” promotional video was launched on DI’s Youtube channel and Facebook on Friday. All young persons have to do is to like the pages and follow three easy steps to be considered as part of the program. “To qualify entrants must “like” our Facebook page, share our “Shine Bright Like A Diamond” Facebook video on their wall and subscribe to our DIStLucia Youtube Channel. Once done, their names will be entered into our draw,” Scott says.
“We at Diamonds International are aware of the large number of school students who graduate every year and face the dilemma of finding gainful employment. We understand that this puts a strain on families and can prove to be quite disheartening for young St Lucians,” the project manager says.
With that in mind Diamonds International St Lucia has decided to make this venture an annual one, which will give the unemployed young people of St Lucia the opportunity to gain invaluable work experience and an appreciation for life in the workplace.
The Draw will take place on Monday 4th November at DI’s flagship store in Pointe Seraphine.
