The sidewalks near the Baywalk Mall in Rodney Bay were teaming with activity on Easter Monday April 6 when the School of Art and Design Saint Lucia hosted its third annual sidewalk chalk art festival.

Dozens of young people participated in the event as they showcased their work before a large crowd of curious onlookers.

The activity also featured other forms of art such as facepainting, caricature, portrait drawing and stone painting.

ECFH Ltd., SUBWAY, Dominos Pizza, Blue Waters and LIME all contributed to the success of this year’s event. The School of Art and Design Saint Lucia opened in July 2011 and continues to help in the development of young creative persons.
