SLADA set to host a ‘memory cafe’ at Island Mix on Saturday.

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]aint Lucia Alzheimers and Dementia Association (SLADA) invites all persons suffering from

Alzheimer or related Dementia’s, as well as their family caregivers to a free afternoon of relaxing and painting at Island Mix’s Art Emporium behind The Big Chef in Rodney Bay. Local artistes will be on hand to guide and help those with the disease. It’s a great time to socialize where no judgements or insecurities will be present.

Take a break from your regular routine. Bring your loved one and enjoy local artist and experience the joy of painting, connecting with others in a safe welcoming fun environment.

The time is from 1-4pm this Saturday the 19th. The cost is free! All costs are paid through SLADA and it’s giving sponsors.
