The St Lucia Football Association (SLFA) sadly mourns the passing of Kester Erysthee who hails from the town of Vieux Fort, who got on the National Team as a goal keeper after outstanding performances representing both Roots Alley and Vieux Fort South.
His stint on the National Team was an outstanding one, playing alongside players of the calibre of Earl Jean, Bolo Flavius, Baba Lastic, Elijah Joseph, Alvin Xavier, Titus Elva, Andy Jn Baptiste T-Loy among others.
Kester always stood out as a committed player. One with whom most of the players enjoyed a positive relationship with. As the captain of both Roots Alley and Vieux Fort, it was always observed that he was an influential person.
The SLFA mourns his loss and on behalf of the football fraternity extend deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Kester Erysthee. May he rest in everlasting peace.
