SLP: “Pray for deliverance”

(Saint Lucia Labour Party)- The Saint Lucia Labour Party notes that the UWP Government has called for National Day of Prayer and Fasting on May 24th 2021. While the SLP has not been officially invited to participate in the scheduled programme, the Party recognises the value of prayer and will always encourage Saint Lucians to constantly pray for whatever their needs, especially the need at this time for deliverance from our deteriorating health and socio-economic conditions.

In doing so recall the words of scripture in Matthew 6:6 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street comers to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.”
