The Authority is also aware that residents island-wide have accumulated bulky waste material since the discontinuation of the service. As such, commencing July 2020 the SLSWMA will on a zonal basis carry out a mass bulk waste removal. Residents will be permitted to exceed the “two item per household limit”. Residents will be informed of this schedule in due course.

The waste disposal facilities will continue to operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on holidays and remain closed on Sundays. The Authority extends its gratitude to the public for exercising patience and complying with the scaled-down
collection schedule.
