Saint Lucian Damien Femi Rene has given Saint Lucia another proud gift ahead of the island’s National Day celebrations. It has been announced that Rene has won the 2015 Small Axe Literary Prize for Poetry.
His brother, Vladimir Lucien, won that same prize for Poetry in 2013 while Rene won the Small Axe Short Fiction Literary Competition in 2014.
