Just after the earth quake I read an article which basically said God was punishing Haiti for its widespread practice of homosexuality. I don't know how to describe this kind of thing. I don't know if is ignorance, if it is hatred of the country and its people, if it is racism or just hypocrisy. I mean where do get homosexuality the most? I don't think I can answer that. What I know is that it is not Haiti. After all the practice is not legal in Haiti. If God is punish a country for its homosexuality then common sense says h would go after those countries where same sex marriages are sanctioned by law.

In the words of Karen Carpenter "Rainy days and Mondays always gets me down". So Simeon Templar James your impromptu on Haiti and it's occurring tragedies fell very short but none the less more informative compared to the abstract rubbish that was printed in this very same publication by a low life contributor (I refuse to call his name to this day. I will not waste one breath to the acknowledge that man, a dark moment for the Star ) a few moons ago. His disgusting impromptu was titled Haiti's True Curse. His impromptu was written with a scorn about a country and it's people. Much of his Yellow Journalism written in The Star painted the country as a backward society and a wasted cesspool. It's a pity "THAT DUNCE" did not do his homework, if he did he would have written a bit differently about a people and it's rich culture. If he only knew of The Haitian Connection to New Orleans and the Emancipation Proclamation issued by Abraham Lincoln that have evolved Black History. Haitian's are some of the most ambitious people I know fo from the Caribbean. Forty five percent of all Black Doctors and 56 percent of Black Nurses in New York City are Haitians. They have their own radio station (Radio Sole') and there is the Haitian Times. Jamaicans are the only other Black Immigrants who owns more print and electronic media. If The Star wants solace vindication (Ha) they could write about the injustices that's been done to there Caribbean Brothers and Sisters starting with The Clinton Foundation and the theft of 10 billion dollars that was allocated to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake this is all over the news Donald Trump been bitching about it. Can you imagine if St Lucia had 10 billion US allocated to it after the last major hurricane where St Lucia would be today ? I won't even touch the presumed oil that's lurking beneath Haiti and why The Gynsbergs of the world does want to see them have it that's another chapter. Oh France, Oh France, you SOB still collecting the debt for The Haitian Revolution; that's why when ever I hear of bombings over there I smile; it's the chickens coming home to roost.
