The award/penalty though paltry and IMHO insufficient, serves as a gentle reminder to adults who behave like the kids they’re supposed to be nurturing, teaching, protecting. Maybe the next parent will think twice before assaulting another person’s child. $4G’s isn’t much, but the message carries much more value: Keep your hands to yourself! The village should be raising & empowering children…not harming them in any way, shape or form.

Secondly it is a revenge system, everyone has cold revenge in their blood and justice has to be seen letting that blood pour in the public, you need to feel your quench satisfied with a punishment.
