Three males have been arrested after allegedly attempting to introduce “prohibited articles” into the Bordelais Correctional Facility in Dennery. Public Relations Officer of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, Acting Corporal Ann Joseph made the disclosure at a press conference moments ago. The men are currently in police custody awaiting charges.
Said Joseph: “We can report that as of 3:00 am today, the 16th of June 2020, three males were actually arrested as they were attempting to introduce prohibited articles into the Bordelias Correctional Facility. That included what is believed to be cannabis, a cellphone and other paraphernalia. So those persons are actually still in custody, they’re at the Dennery police station awaiting charges.”
