Tragedy at Rock Hall

About 11:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2014, Officers attached to the Marchand Police Station responded to a report of a shooting incident at Rockhall, Castries.

It is alleged that Imbert “ Cow back” Eugene and Mitch “Shooter” Alcide, both of Rockhall, Castries were involved in an altercation which resulted in Mitch Alcide firing several shots at Imbert Eugene hitting him about the body.

A police officer who was present on the scene at the time of the incident discharged his firearm at Alcide, hitting him.

Both Alcide and Eugene were transported to Victoria Hospital via ambulance where they were pronounced dead on arrival.

Post mortem examinations are scheduled for a later date. An investigation into this matter is ongoing.
