This piece is so ridiculous, disjointed and really says nothing of value. If he makes sense of anything he says here, he I supposed to be in a class by himself. A bigot of soughts. What makes the coloured man in St. Lucia more a native of St. Lucia than his fellow St. Lucians of European decent? Is it the pigmentation of their skin? The negro was brought here as slaves, the Europeans came as colonial Masters. Generations later, both the negro and the White European left their seed behind. Neither has their origins in this region. The only difference between them being economic fortunes have being different through generations. so will and come again. While I share in the belief that Allen really can’t feel the pain of the suffering poor in our midst and therefore can’t understand it, because he has never know want, and so I don’t see him as an ideal PM, this particular piece is pure racist hyperbole.
