TROPICAL DEPRESSION # 5 HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO.

AT 5:00 PM TODAY, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 12.8 DEGREES NORTH…LONGITUDE 56.6 DEGREES WEST,
OR ABOUT 300 MILES OR 482 KILOMETRES EAST SOUTHEAST OF ST. LUCIA.
THE STORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 22 MPH OR 35 KM/H. AND
THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
ON THE FORECAST TRACK THE CENTER OF THE TROPICAL CYCLONE SHOULD BE
NEAR THE WINDWARD ISLANDS TOMORROW MORNING.
