Two arrested during an eradication exercise

Police are reporting that on Saturday 8th September 2012, about 6: 30am, Soufriere police conducted an eradication exercise at Zenon, Soufriere. During the exercise a total of 1500 grown Marijuana plants were destroyed in addition to 200 seedlings. During the exercise police say they arrested two men were arrested on the plantation. One of Industry, Choiseul and another of Goodlands, Castries. Both men were charged for the offences of Possession of a Controlled Drug, Possession with the Intent to Supply a Controlled Drug and Cultivation of a Controlled Drug. They appeared before the court on Monday 10th September, 2012 to answer to the said charges.
