The Community and Family Systems Advisor will lead project interventions under Objective 4: Community and Family Systems Strengthened, and co-conduct community safety and resiliency assessments with community leaders and CBOs to identify key community actors, hotspots for delinquency, trends of spreading violence, and other indicators of safety and resilience to serve as a roadmap of entry points for interventions.
The Strategic Communications Specialist will be responsible for project communications and reporting, internally and externally, and for planning and managing the full breadth of the communications and outreach activities of the project, with a strong focus on articulating the project’s value proposition to stakeholders and promoting the reach and impact of the project.
PROJECT PROFILE: The USAID Eastern & Southern Caribbean Youth Resilience to Crime and Violence in the Caribbean (YRCVC) Activity will engage and empower youth and other key populations as partners and integrate interventions at the national and sub-national levels to improve youth, family, and community resilience to crime and violence. Using a youth-centered systems-strengthening approach, the activity will address rising unemployment, high poverty rates, and waves of crime and violence.
