The Water and Sewerage Company, WASCO has provided an update on the delivery of water from Millet to Cap Estate. The Company on Tuesday began major repair works on the system temporarily disrupting the supply. Works were completed the same day, however, on Wednesday morning the company reported a break in the raw water line from the John Compton Dam to the Theobalds Water treatment plant at Ciceron. Earlier today, the company gave a diagnosis of the problem but did not indicate when work would have been completed.
Just moments ago, the company issued another statement via their facebook page on the situation. The statement reads;

WASCO wishes to inform consumers that repairs on the raw water line at Millet are completed and treatment has recommenced at the Theobalds Treatment Plant for onward distribution.
Crews are currently reopening distribution lines and all affected areas will gradually begin to receive a supply.However, customers at higher elevations and those at the end of the network will experience some delays.
