Water supply to be “interrupted periodically” in 7 communities as WASCO embarks on improvement works

NOTICE FROM THE WATER & SEWERAGE COMPANY INC:

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc (WASCO) in partnership with the St Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF) and the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) wishes to notify the public of the water improvements works scheduled to commence as of June 22nd 2020 through to September 2020 within the community of Patience and Lombard.

The Patience Water Improvement Sub –Project will seek to repair and upgrade the existing infrastructure in these communities and provide households with access to a more reliable potable water supply.

As such, the supply of water to the following communities will be interrupted periodically:
• Mon Repos
• Malgretoute
• Praslin
• Mamiku
• Patience
• La Point
• Lombard

These interruptions are necessary to allow for upgrade works to the existing Patience and Lombard water tanks. WASCO deeply regrets any inconvenience that the project may cause to the public and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
