Youth dies after stabbing at Ciceron

Police are currently investigating the death of 18-year-old Zad Antoine of Ciceron, Castries, who was allegedly stabbed about 4:35pm on Tuesday the 8th of February, 2011 at Ciceron, in the vicinity of the Ciceron Secondary School.

Reports indicate that at the aforesaid time, Antoine was involved in an altercation with another young man who allegedly stabbed him in the chest in the process. He was thereafter taken to the Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 16-year-old student is currently in police custody in connection with this incident. He was taken into custody by his attorney.
