Youth Football League results

Six games were played and 20 goals were scored over the weekend during play in the ECFH-LUCELEC Youth Football League play at the Sab Sporting Facility.

On Saturday in the Under 13 division FC Pioneers and VSADC drew 1-1 while division leaders Valley Soccer made light work of Boboville shutting them out 5-0.

In the Under 15 division, NYAH got past FC Pioneers 3-2. At the half FC Pioneers led 2-1 but on the resumption of play, two unanswered goals from NYAH earned them three points and fourth place in the standings.

On Sunday continuing in the Under 15 division, Agard SC upset VSADC 3-2. In the final game of the day FC Pioneers behind a brace by Cassius “Messi” Jones and a second half strike from Keeroy Lionel blanked Valley Soccer 3-0.

At the end of the seventh week of the tournament Valley Soccer leads the Under 13 and Under 15 divisions, while VSADC is on top in the Under 17 division.

The tournament continues this weekend with all three divisions competing.
