ECFH Connects Customers with Financial Power

The East Caribbean Financial Holding Company (ECFH) unveiled its new website; which by all accounts is expected to lead the way in conducting business online. The unveiling, which took place last Friday, July 27th at  a business mixer held in conjunction with the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture – allowed members of the business community and specially invited guests to experience the website first hand.  The new website is expected to revolutionize the way customers engage with the financial institution.

“I think that is one of the most interactive, innovative, revolutionary sites that you can go to. The level of interactivity, the level of customer engagement is bar none, and we’re actually using the website as the center for our digital marketing strategies. This is really strategic in nature, however it’s not all about ECFH, it’s really about the customers.” Leslie Collymore, Assistant Manager for Marketing at the ECFH Group said.

It has been a two year-long journey leading up to the ECFH website launch. The decision to invest in an all-encompassing site with cutting edge technology is  driven primarily by the Company’s commitment to customer service excellence. Now, two years later, customers can access their financial world at their fingertips, on their time, with services and information only a click away. Some key features include real-time stock market rates, a wide range of financial calculators, instant insurance quotes, community support for small business owners and a most impressive addition – LIVE CHAT with a financial expert, should customers require immediate assistance.

“We have several calculators so you can calculate the repayment on a mortgage, on a business loan, on a student loan, on a personal loan, on a car loan, so you don’t need to call the bank for that kind of information anymore, you can go on there and all that information is at your fingertips.”Omar Burch-Smith, Corporate Accounts Executive at Bank of Saint Lucia said.

The new ECFH website serves as a virtual portal for all of the financial institution’s subsidiaries which include Bank of Saint Lucia ( – the Group’s largest banking subsidiary, Bank of Saint Lucia International (, Bank of St. Vincent & the Grenadines (, ECFH Global Investments (, and EC Global Insurance Co. Ltd (

“For EC Global, it’s taking the customer service experience a step further. We have now introduced the website where you can go on now from the quotation all the way to the claim experience. For example, when a customer wants a quotation, they don’t need necessarily to call us. At 3 o’clock in the morning, they wish to get a quote; they could just log on to the site and get a quotation on their property or motor vehicle.” Severin Francois, Claims Supervisor for EC Global Insurance explained.

Another major aspect of the new is that it can be accessed on different platforms including computers, tablets and smart phones. The launch held at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort gave attendees first hand access to the site on those different platforms which were provided for the event by The Cell St. Lucia. The new ECFH website promises to deliver a whole new level of financial freedom through continued innovation.
