On Monday 21 January 2013, a post mortem examination was performed on the body of 25 year old Danley Leon of Corinth, Gros Islet.
Results revealed that the deceased died as a result of Hemorrhagic Shock secondary to a stab wound.
Leon who was the first homicide victim of the year sustained a stab wound to the upper chest area on Saturday 19 January 2013 about 10:30pm whilst involved in an altercation. The incident happened in the Corinth Grande Riviere area.
One man is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
