There’s all kind of talk around the water cooler and the buzz word is ‘2nite’—magazine that is! If you haven’t picked it up by now you should definitely check out the STAR Newspaper this weekend. The STAR insert offers all the latest on parties, local gossip and drama, fashion and more!
It’s week three and this weekend STAR readers will once again be treated to the hottest nightlife and entertainment! 2nite Magazine is very much a transition from Small Talk to something more all embracing, exciting and super interactive.
“We were getting so much feedback from Small Talk which was only four pages and people wanted mor; especially the gossip section,” 2nite Magazine editor Kayra Williams explained. “Our objective was to focus on young people, between the ages of 18 and 30 who were interested in a lighter type of reading.”
She added: “It’s primarily a party magazine, but there’s so much more to it than just that. We feature young aspiring models, singers, dancers . . . you name it. If you think you deserve to be featured, hit us up and tell us why you think you should be featured!”
2nite Magazine highlights events from all over the island and readers can look forward to the popular, new ‘WTF’ (What’s This Foto) section or ‘Blurt!’; a section where readers can say pretty much anything they want. Do you want to shout out that hot guy or lady you met at the club, or complain about horrendous customer service perhaps? Send your Blurts to see them featured in 2nite Magazine!
2nite caters to modern day party people who love an awesome night out and want to be kept in the know. Check out the popular ‘Spilling the Beans’ section with Biky-B for local gossip or the revamped and interactive ‘Keeping it Real’ column where readers get to share their own perspectives on a wide range of controversial hot topics.
“The magazine is an added benefit for our readers, although we have our readers who love the political and news aspect, of the STAR this is something lighter that we hope they will embrace,” 2nite’s editor said. “At the STAR we always try to keep it fresh, do things differently and push the envelope. 2nite is definitely something people can look forward to every weekend and the STAR is still only $2!”
Talking about 2nite without mentioning the Bikini Bombshell aspect is impossible. Winners from the Magazine’s monthly bikini competition are featured every week on 2nite’s Pin Up pages. This week’s edition features 19-year-old Sheline Tench, third place winner of last month’s competition at Ocean Club in the Rodney Bay Marina. The fiery competition heats up again next week, Saturday November 24 with a special theme, ‘Razzle Dazzle!’ Keep reading the STAR for more information on how to sign up and the tremendous prizes, cash and otherwise, up for grabs!
