A senior constable of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force who is presently on pre-retirement leave was charged with the offence of rape on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. The charge stemmed from an investigation which began in October 2015. The officer made an appearance before the First District Court where he was remanded.
