Brewed the world over and now regarded as one of the leading beers in the world, Amstel Bright now has a new home at one of the finest breweries in the Caribbean located right here in Saint Lucia. The beer itself is light tasting, easy to drink, with a fun imagery described as “The Bright Side of Life.” Simply put Amstel Bright is an international beer with a distinctive fun Caribbean flavor.
On Saturday June 11, WLBL introduced a new beer, Amstel Bright to the St Lucian market. The beer which consumers first got a chance to sample during WLBL’s annual “Oktoberfest en Kweyol” last year, is expected to add to the every exciting portfolio of the company which already includes Heineken, Piton Beer and Malt, Shandy Rooster and Guinness.
According to WLBL’s marketing manager Shelley Black: “Consumer preferences are continually changing and are becoming responsive to more choice. WLBL has identified a need for a differentiated lager brand which is more distinct and accessible to both price and image. Amstel Bright will therefore fulfill this growing need for consumers who want a beer with an international image at an affordable price.”
Amstel Bright will be introduced initially in the top 100 modern trade outlets here to ensure optimal freshness and high quality standards.
Amstel Bright comes from the world renowned Amstel International Brand Portfolio, which has experiences through sports (e.g. First sponsored the UEFA Championships and the Annual Amstel Gold Race) and other global sponsorship platforms like the Amstel Golf Club etc.) In the Caribbean Amstel Bright is already available in the ABC Islands, Saint Maarten and Trinidad.
The launch of Amstel Bright took place at Delirious restaurant and bar in Rodney Bay and featured sampling of the products, Amstel on special all night and a performance by a “live” band. Needless to say the Amstel ladies were quite eye catching on the occasion!
