Another Suspected Suicide

There has been another suspected case of suicide here in Saint Lucia. According to the police at about 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department responded

to a report of an alleged suicide at a residence in Morne Du Don, Castries.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered a young female
with a rope around her neck hanging from the ceiling of her kitchen. The female was identified as 27 year old Kefran “Nancy” St. Clair.

Kefran St. Clair, was a housekeeper at Bay Gardens Resort and was due to work that same Saturday
evening.

The mother of three was reportedly discovered by her boyfriend.

St. Clair was pronounced dead on the scene. A post mortem examination is scheduled for a later date and an investigation in this matter is ongoing.
