FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Fair and hazy, occasionally becoming cloudy with a few brief scattered showers. An increase in cloudiness and shower activity is expected from this evening into tomorrow over the central and southern Windward islands.                                                                                                        Â
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
An approaching tropical wave is expected to begin affecting the Lesser Antilles from tonight and into tomorrow Thursday.
A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over our region, during the next 24 hours.
Another tropical wave, located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Development of this feature is no longer anticipated.
The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange. Interests in Saint Lucia and the South-Eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
