Bagatelle man dead following Trouya shooting

On Thursday 29 November 2012 about 1:00 am, Officers attached to the Gros Islet Police Station and the Major Crime Unit responded to an incident which occurred at Trouya, Gros Islet.

On arrival, they received information that 27 year old Arthur Paul Jones of Bagatelle, Castries had sustained gunshot wounds while walking along the Trouya Road.

He was transported to Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for Friday 30 November 2012.

Currently, four persons are in custody assisting with investigations.

Investigations continue into the matter.
