Blackheart Football Kicks Off with LIME

As local football teams and fans prepare for another exciting, action-packed Blackheart Knockout Football Tournament, LIME has come on board once again to provide support to the competition.

Saint Lucia and the Caribbean’s leading telecommunications provider is a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s tournament, which brings together teams from around Saint Lucia for several weeks of thrilling matches. The competition starts off with a preliminary round-robin phase, followed by a series of knockout matches, with the top teams from each phase moving to the semi-finals and finals. Last year Gros Islet emerged the tournament champions.

LIME is providing the competition with financial support, along with mobile phones and mobile credit, WiFi connectivity at both the Beausejour Stadium and Soufriere Mini Stadium to help the organizers better coordinate the event, T-shirts, tents and assistance with promotion and advertising, all free of charge.
