On Friday 1 February 2013, about 8:00 am, Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department and the Major Crimes Unit responded to a report at Bisee, Castries. On arrival, the officers discovered the body of 47-year-old Simone Leandra Garnier of Bisee, behind a house at Bisee, Castries. She was lying face down in a concentration of blood. Her legs were bonded together and her throat was slashed. The body was pronounced dead on the scene. It was transported to Victoria Hospital Mortuary. A post mortem examination was conducted on the body of the deceased on Friday 1, February 2013. The cause of death was Hemorrhagic Sock secondary to multiple incisions. The deceased was last seen alive about 9:15pm on Thursday 31 January 2013. The police are carrying out an investigation into the matter. No one has been arrested in relation to this incident.
