Police have just been alerted to the discovery of a man’s body in the Entrepot River in Castries. There has not yet been an identification of the body, that was found mere yards away from the home of Castries East representative Philip J Pierre. Sources close to the investigation have told the STAR the body showed signs of multiple stab wounds.
Police have cordoned off the area and are in the process of removing the body. As we get more information we will update you.
