Cabot Cares Gives $67k for Under-19 Football

Cabot Cares has started 2022 true to its promise of significantly impacting local communities. Its first initiative for the year is a $67,500.00 cash donation to the Free Kick Foundation – a not- for-profit organization engaged in the development of Under 19 Football in the country.

Cabot Cares significant cash injection into local Football through the Free Kick Foundation is a clear indication of Cabot’s intentions to support the development of youth through sports in Saint Lucia.

Cabot Cares, Platinum sponsor of the Free Kick Tournament was present at the gala launch event that took place at the Royalton Hotel and Spa. Aaron King, the Executive Director and Founder of Freekick, sees the partnership as life changing for many young persons.

In addition to being the Platinum Sponsor for the Free Kick Tournament in April of this year, Cabot Cares is also importantly the Title Sponsor for its Community programme which includes coaching clinics, training camps and mentoring programmes.

Anya Edwin of the Advisory Committee at Cabot Cares sees investment in sport as one of the best ways to empower youth in the Saint Lucia.

The Launch of the Free Kick Foundation 2022 programme brought together local and international legends as well as local sports administrators.

The support that the Free Kick Foundation has received locally and further afield including sponsorships and from Corporate Entities like Cabot Cares sets this year on a very positive trajectory for a very successful community under 19 football youth programme and tournament.
