A customs officer recently charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition has been released on $50,000 bail. It is unclear whether he will return to work pending the result of a trial not yet scheduled.
The bail application was heard by Justice Lorraine Williams this morning, April 30. The man was represented by Lorne Theophilus, a former government minister in the Kenny Anthony administration.
