Daily Mail: ‘Matt Damon rents out St Lucia’s Sugar Beach Resort!’

Hollywood Star Matt Damon has set all eyes on Saint Lucia as he plans to renew his vows at the Sugar Beach Resort in Soufriere. The Daily Mail has reported that the Jason Bourne star has rented out the entire 78-room resort and spent £300,000 or about EC$1.2 million for the week-long celebration which includes guests such as “George Clooney, Brad Pitt and his fiancee Angelina Jolie, and his latest co-star, Michael Douglas and his Oscar-winning wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.”

Reports are that Damon booked his stay under the name ‘Mr Naff’. The Daily Mail quoted a staff member of the hotel who said: ‘The hotel was booked under a different name to Damon. We were told that it was a Mr and Mrs Naff getting married. We then heard that it was Matt Damon and they had been using a false name to stop their secret being found out. He was here two months ago to have a look around. A big yacht moored by the beach and he came into the resort.”

The event is expected to take place on April 8. The hotel has been mum on the issue so far. But we have a feeling the world’s paparazzi are already booking their plane tickets to St Lucia.
