TV producer and presenter Delia Dolor is one of 13 women recognised by Women on the Crossroads as part of their ‘Awesome You’ anniversary dinner which takes place annually in the UK during International Women’s month.
Women on the Crossroads (WOTC) is an online website which helps women to connect, network and communicate their needs effectively. WOTC will be launching the newly founded Women on the Crossroads Mentoring programme where attendees will be able to register as Mentees and Mentors – each one will inspire the other.
WOTC’s third anniversary dinner ‘Awesome You’ on Sunday 29 March 2015 at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury, Coram Street, London will include a champagne reception, African and Caribbean dinner, fashion show by top class designers, and entertainment and motivational speeches from industry inspirers.
Inspirers on the night include,Leah Charles – presenter and TV producer; Saundra Glenn – founder and director of Cesty Val Associates, an event company which majors in motorsport; designer Yemi of Kosibah Creations; Eryca Freemantle – inspirational speaker and presenter on Moments in Nigeria; Sonia Brown MBE – Founder of National Black Women’s Network and Lets Talk Business Networking Forum.
WOTC will also be honouring Irene Sinclair from Guyana, who is now 106 years old. Irene became a model for the Dove Worldwide Campaign at the age of 96. Said Ms Dixon: “The point being that you can do whatever you want to do despite your age!”
