Digicel Celebrates 10 Great Years!

Digicel’s Country Manager, Holly Hughes-McNamara leads the Bigger Better team on the achievement of ten successful years of operations in
St Lucia.

St Lucia’s largest telecommunications Company, Digicel, will observe 10 years of operations this Sunday March 24th 2013.  Digicel blasted into the newly deregulated market with staggering offers so allowing every St. Lucian the opportunity to own a mobile phone and access affordable mobile calls – Once a luxury only few could enjoy.

When asked what they recall about Digicel’s market entry ten years ago, one special Digicel facebook fan aptly summed up the experience, “Introducing us to GSM, offering us affordable and world class handsets, giving us great deals, free incoming calls, per second billing, international calls at great rates, first to bring mobile internet with GPRS, then EDGE, outstanding customer service . . .
