The Caribbean’s Biggest Party in Sport, Caribbean Premier League (CPL) may have long ended in Saint Lucia but for Digicel and two lucky customers, the party has only just begun. Julia Cadette is the lucky grand prize winner of Digicel’s CPL promotion of an all-expenses paid trip for two, to the CPL finals in Trinidad. Miss Cadette was greeted to the news live on Radio Caribbean International by Digicel’s Louise Victor and RCI’s Hyper D.
Julia and her guest jet-setted in style on British Airways with an exclusive VIP pickup from Piarco International Airport, hotel accommodation for two, US $350 spending cash, among other treats. Julia also received her very own Zouks shirt autographed by Captain Darren Sammy.
Having celebrated her birthday just two days prior, Julia was absolutely stunned by the new that she was indeed the lucky winner. In receipt of the news, she exclaimed, “Oh my goodness, this is the best birthday gift ever. Wow! Thank you so much Digicel!” Customers qualified for this grand prize by texting the word ‘CRICKET’ to 7171, topping up $10 or more, signing up for a data, talk or text plan or joining Digicel and also by paying their postpaid bill in full and on time. Over 500 Digicel customers also got a chance to be part of the first ever Digicel Red Zone for the four days of CPL held in Saint Lucia at the Beausejour Cricket Grounds.
Louise Victor, Marketing and Communications Executive at Digicel said, “Digicel is always excited to deliver and create a once in a lifetime experience for its customers, and this time we have stopped nothing short of ensuring that Miss Cadette has a fantastic experience from start to finish. Digicel always aspires to keep promotions exciting, interactive, fun and relevant for customers and with CPL cricket still being in the air, what more of a suitable prize than to be part of the grand finale of the biggest party in sport? As the leading telecommunications network in the region and premier partner of CPL, it is very important to us that our customers enjoy the benefits of this partnership. Julia Cadette and her guest, plus the 500 customers who enjoyed the Digicel Red Zone are testimony to the shared benefits of this partnership.”
