Since the launch of Digicel’s “Together We Make Christmas Better” promotion, customers have been eagerly anticipating who would be the customer to win the first $10,000 cash prize. Qualifying is easy and open to everyone for the festive season. Prepaid customers who top-up $10 or more or sign up for a 4G Data Lite plan or higher, and postpaid customers who simply pay their bill in full by the 26th of November and December will all be eligible to win. Customers can also qualify to win by purchasing a Digicel 4G smartphone and joining the Digicel network.

Julian Eugene, a dedicated field surveyor in the Surveys and Mapping Department of the Ministry of Physical Development, Housing and Urban Renewal on Tuesday morning had the surprise of a lifetime. Mr. Eugene, a Digicel customer from inception, always ensured he topped up his Digicel mobile to stay connected to his family. Totally oblivious to what was about to happen, Mr. Eugene was seated at his desk and engrossed in his days’ work when Digicel’s marketing team made their way into his department and surprised him with balloons, fanfare and the goods news that he was the first customer to win $10,000 cash in Digicel’s “Together We Make Christmas Better” promotion.
