Digicel, proud platinum sponsor of St Lucia’s Carnival 2013 is elated to be the sponsor of Michelle St Clair. The beautiful twenty-two-year-old was sashed as ‘Miss Digicel’ at a ceremony held on Monday, June 17 at Alliance Francaise. This prestigious National Queen pageant is expected to celebrate seven extraordinary young ladies all very talented, poised and graceful, at the National Cultural Center on Saturday, June 29.
Spontaneous, family-oriented, down-to-earth and confident are just some of the words that describe ‘Miss Digicel’ – Michelle St Clair. Michelle has always had a deep passion for the general welfare and health of others and has therefore enrolled in the Nursing Division at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College for September 2013. At her alma mater, the George Charles Secondary School, Michelle was also an active member of the Red Cross Club, theatre group and netball team. Michelle believes that it is very critical to be a well-rounded individual, and hopes that through her participation in a prestigious pageant like the National Carnival Queen, she will experience tremendous growth in both her personal and professional life. Miss St Clair’s interests include modeling, acting and singing.
As commented by Digicel’s Marketing Manager Kerchelle Jn Charles: “Having such a well-rounded, talented, intelligent young lady who is no stranger to the stage, focused and willing to take bold steps in advancing herself, are qualities Digicel espouses and we’re happy to have branded her as Miss Digicel for this pageant.”
The seven lovely contestants at Monday’s ceremony were also surprised with extraordinary DL 600 handsets exclusively from Digicel.
A young woman full of potential and hope for the future, Michelle has promised Digicel that she will definitely Be Extraordinary and is ready to dazzle the audience as she carries the Digicel brand with pride and joy.
