Nine games were played and 42 goals scored in the second week of the ECFH~LUCELEC Youth Football League which takes place at the Sab Sporting Facility.
On Saturday in the Under 13 division VSADC got pass Boboville 2-1, Marchand got the better of Lancers 5-2, thanks to a hat trick from Nicholas Merius, while a brace from Denyl Jn Baptiste and Turjard Stava gave Valley Soccer Academy a 6-1 win over Roseau. In the Under 15 division NYAH edged out VSADC 2-1, while Valley Soccer Academy made light work of Marchand 10-0, with Avian Giraud becoming the first player to register five goals in a game.
On Sunday Agard FC and FC Pioneers drew 1-1 all in the only Under 15 division game on that day.
In the Under 17 division, a first half strike by Germal Thomas was enough to secure three points for VSADC, when the rekindled an old rivalry with NYAH.
Valley Soccer Academy later shutout Roseau 2-0, while Marchand edged out FC Pioneers 4-3, after leading by four goals midway in the second half.
Action in the 2013 ECFH~LUCELEC Youth Football League continues in the Under 15 division this coming weekend.
