El Dorado Official Spirit and Celebration Partner of CPL

The partying will continue here immediately following the climax of Saint Lucia’s Carnival on Tuesday July 19th. The next big event to hit local shores is the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 described as the biggest party in sports. And, to celebrate the event, once again El Dorado Rum will be distributed here by Peter & Company Distribution (PCD).

CPL T20 kicks off in Saint Lucia on Thursday July 21st when the Saint Lucia Zouks come up against the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots from 6pm at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. The games are expected to bring all the fun and excitement that comes with T20, with El Dorado Rum adding to that mix. El Dorado, the world’s number one and award-winning rum, will continue to be the “Official Spirit” and “Celebration Partner” of the HERO CPL T20 tournament.

Zouks players keeping on top of their game.

“This year we promise an even greater engagement with our fans and you can expect that there will be new and interesting opportunities to engage with the brand,” said Germaine Serieux, Brand Manager for El Dorado Rum.
According to Serieux, El Dorado is happy to partner with the CPL, as the feedback from consumers has been great in the past and leading up to this series. “El Dorado fans are extremely excited about our ‘Roll with the Masters’ online promotion where you can purchase any bottle of El Dorado and qualify for weekly draws to win products and tickets to the games” Serieux explained.

The El Dorado brand manager further stated that PCD is looking forward to the matches scheduled to take place starting this Thursday, July 21st. The Zouks will come up against the Barbados Tridents on Saturday July 23rd, Guyana Amazon Warriors on Sunday July 24th and Trinidad & Tobago Knight Riders on Tuesday July 26th.

“El Dorado has been a huge supporter of the league from the onset, and has shared the vision for a uniquely Caribbean sports league that aims to captivate the world, and it is with absolute pleasure that we are part of what will be the biggest year of CPL yet,” noted Serieux. “Cricket drives West Indians, gives us an identity and it is pleasing to know that HERO CPL has partnered with the world’s best rum for this tournament yet again,” he added.

“As we all come out and support those exciting games and rally around the teams, we implore all fans to enjoy the El Dorado range responsibly and take a huge stance against drinking and driving. Let’s make those games fun yet incident-free,” Serieux cautioned.
