An elderly man traveling on a bicycle at Bexon was hit by a truck at around 7:40pm on Sunday 7 August. The truck was traveling southbound towards Vieux-Fort. Details are still sketchy. More on this in a subsequent news post.

I was truly saddened to learn of the passing of one of my fiends late last evening...
I first met Regan (aka Simon Joseph) when I traveled to St. Lucia in 2006. Regan lived a hard, difficult life but was a free spirit and did the best he could based on the cards that life dealt to him. I can honestly say that he was my friend and I will miss him terribly. Over the years visiting St. Lucia I always enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him. I know that he will be missed by all his friends and family in Bexon and especially by me in New Jersey, USA.
RIP my friend.
Your friend always,
Thomas Berry
