In envy of the Word,
Within a petri dish
Duplicated a sheep.
Then engineering,
Genes interfering,
Given species alterate
Intelligence, on high gifted,
Technology would seek appropriate
To inanimate objects supply
With own thinking minds,
Self inanimate man makes,
Subjected to command
Inured become,
Forgotten the eaten apple’s cost,
Climate change alerts,
Corona rampaging reminds.
Brought down to its knees,
Pandemic, the deluging disease,
Masked world kneels
Praying for an Ark
