Fond Doux Holiday Plantation supports Big and Beautiful pageant

The contestants hang out at Fond Doux with Eroline Lamontagne.

Fond Doux Holiday Plantation has come to the support of the organizers of the Miss Soufriere Big and Beautiful Pageant Show to be held at the Morne Coubaril Estate on May 21st.

Four gorgeous young women will be vying to make history by being the first to win the title; and a fifth lady whose name was not disclosed will make a guest appearance on the night of the show. The contestants are Kisha Francois, Sayis Jn Baptiste, Rhonda Matthew, and Andia Prevost. Apart from Sayis Jn Baptiste who is from Canaries all of the other contestants are from Soufriere.

Organizers and three of the contestants were treated to the sweet rendition of a life local band and a sumptuous meal at the Jardin Cocoa restaurant on the plantation on Sunday. This was followed by a brief ceremony when proprietors of the Plantation, Eroline and Lyton Lamontagne offered the sponsorship present to the organizers and gifts to the contestants. The presentation was then followed by a photo shoot besides the alluring, triple cascading swimming pool which overlooks the entire estate.

“We are always keen to support the young women of St Lucia interested advancing themselves and it doesn’t matter whether they have a slim or full figured body,” said Eroline.

Eroline also indicated that sponsoring young beauty queens comes naturally to her. She said that for many years she has been supporting young women who have offered themselves to represent the Soufriere community and St Lucia overseas. Two notable examples she gave Cotney John who won the Miss Soufriere Pageant Show in 2008 and Aiasha Gustave, who represented St Lucia in the Miss World beauty Queen Contest in China in October last year.

The Miss Big and Beautiful Pageant show was organized this year to showcase the beauty of full figured women against those catering for average seize women.

“Our mission is to lift the confidence of full figured women so that they can take the world by storm,” said Miss Rebekar Williams, one of the organizers of the show.
In an atmosphere which is expected to be most electrifying the young full figured body beauty queens will be introducing themselves to the audience, wear their sexy lingerie or bedroom fantasy, dressed in casual/diva ware, display their talents, and show off their evening ware.

Patron will pay an admission fee of $40 at the door. Entertainment will be provided by the Xtra Luv Band.
