The St Lucia Football Association (SLFA) and the organizers of the 2013 Veterans Football Tournament have come together to stage a grand football extravaganza this weekend at the Beausejour Cricket Ground. Taking place are the semi-finals of the SLFA’S Super League and the quarter finals of the Veterans Football Tournament.
The veterans quiter final takes place today (Saturday) from 6:00 pm with Laborie going up against Gros Islet. Then from 8:00 pm Vieux Fort South comes take on Congorians.
On Sunday is the semi finals of the SLFA Super League competition and the remaining two quarter final matches of the veterans football tournament
Following is the line up for Sunday’s matches. From 2:00 pm Dennery battles Soufriere in the first semi final of the SLFA Super League. At 4:00 pm Behind the College All Stars takes on VSADC in a veterans football quarter final. From 6:00 pm Gros Islet entertains Babonneau in the second semi-final of the SLFA Super League. At 8:00 pm Dennery All Blacks take on Anse La Raye in the other veterans football quarter final.
Admission to the Beausejour Cricket Ground on both days is $10.00 dollars. See you there.
